My aunt taught me how to make cream gravy before she passed. Her husband always made it for her so I learned to take care of her by making it. Eastwood
one of the best times in my life was as a kid and grandma was coking and baking with her wood stove. back then the kitchen was the warmest room in the big old house. might be in the 30 outside but it was 75 or so easy in there. she made damn near everything herself too. and I have never found biscuits as good as hers where. butter and honey and sort of chilled milk. and then the eggs and bacon. there is nothing better than farm fresh food. I was always willing to fetch more firewood for her. dave in pa.

DeleteUse lard instead of butter. Butter goes on after the biscuits are done (or better yet, cream gravy)

This guy is great. He lives a bit northeast of me about a six-pack away.
