Have you tried throwing a gavel at them?

SAN MATEO, Calif. (KGO) -- San Mateo County Superior Court judges are raising concerns for their personal safety after several incidents of deputies, who should be watching potentially dangerous criminals, falling asleep or otherwise failing to do their jobs.

  1. I'm doing my best to stay away from courthouses, it's always been a bad experience for me when I've had to go there... Best as I recall the deputies were standing up and doing stuff in court like handing out or picking up paperwork for the judge.. If they are sitting around or playing on their phones the judge should tell them to get up and put the phone away...

  2. I wonder how many are simply checking out after watching these same judges free career recidivists even if they've done stuff that in a sane world would get them the death penalty.

  4. How does a deputy turn his back long enough for a female inmate to be raped twice by three male inmates in a elevator when he is supposed to be watching all of them did I read that right

    1. It was consensual (she was horny) they were willing. The deputy was scared, bribed, a perv, take yer pick.

  5. Having been called for jury duty I can testify that staying awake while lawyers and judges ramble on is a major accomplishment. Can't imagine being in a stuffy courtroom everyday.
