Rasmussen: 77 Percent Say Photo ID 'Reasonable' to Vote
Nearly 8 in 10 U.S. voters agree with President Donald Trump that requiring photo identification to vote is a reasonable measure to protect the integrity of elections, Rasmussen Reports found.
I think photo ID is the bare minimum. We also need to get rid of electronic voting of ANY SORT, and absentee voting.
The requirements for absentee voting should be so steep as to make it less than 0.1% of votes. As in: notarized, witnessed and countersigned by representatives of three political parties, continual chain of custody (NOT USPS!) and proving need before a judge unless you're active service.
We have to present an ID to board a plane, cash a check, drive a car, go to the doctor, get a library card, open a bank account and so on. To argue that have to present one to vote as a burden or some other problem is the most ridiculous excuse ever JD
Photo ID to vote is a no brainer. However another thing that popped up in my neck of the woods is when I went to pick up a receiver that I had shipped to my local FFL I was told by the owner that a new thing has come through. I have to have an ID with my full middle name on it. I have a long last name on my driver's license so I just have my initials and last name on it. Hasn't been a problem for over 20 years. He said it was a new thing that came from the federal government. I don't know if the local ATF has an agent with a bug up his ass giving trouble to the local gun shops in my area. Or if my FFL guy misinterpreted the law/edicts from said agent. I now have to dig out my social security card or birth certificate. He said that I could get a 1 day fishing license printed up as well. I'm curious if anyone else has run across this.
Ya need a photo I.D. as a driver license, you need photo I.D. to get on a plane, If you’re a baby face you need a photo I.D. to get a beer, but not to vote. I guess along with dead folks and Illegal Alien Criminals it works for the Democrats.

Military only if necessary. The AF could easily fly troops back to the states in shifts for early In Person voting. Time of war, different story.
