The Government Says Money Isn't Property—So It Can Take Yours
As a lawyer who sues the government, you get used to the different kinds of arguments that government lawyers use to justify abuses of individual rights—sweeping claims of government power, bad-faith procedural obstacles, and more.
I'd like to see how they reason that "the government" can take YOUR HOUSE OR LAND that YOU PAID for and that YOU OWN if you don't pay your "property tax..." Think of it; what other physical, personal property can be taken from you that way?...
As for money not being yours, well, the work that you performed to earn it was, and it was exchanged for its physical representation, cash. I really don't see how that legal argument can work...
Do what you can to convert your cash to "tangibles" or precious metals. "They" may try to take your money with that kind of smoke and mirrors argument, but if you can hide it, they can't take it...
The government paid shysters can take $50,000 from a business and the business owners have to pay fees to their shysters in a suit that'll be delayed by shyster judges so long the shyster’s fees will equal or exceed the $50,000 the business’s shysters will charge and their chances of winning the $50,000 are 50,000 to one against the business thanks to the combined shyster’s club of America.
As a long term super patriot I have a test I use of "is my US Government acting the tyrant?" And if I were told "we the Government say your money is not yours and we will take it" then what difference is that to an enemy foreign power invading America and send out black shirts to commit armed robbery of we citizens? I've wondered for several decades how governments and police simply take money from we citizens and then they say "we think this money comes from acts of crime so you will have to prove to us that this is not proceeds from crime". The 4th Amendment anyone? So this bit of news from government says "we will just take your money as it's not really yours" and how is that different from an invasion war here to USA where enemy soldiers simply take at barrel of gun anything they want?
I suspect that the DOJ newbie that put that argument together is going to get an ass-chewing by the judge for a frivolous waste of the court's time. Maybe even sanctioned and fined for a FRCP Rule 11 violation.
But realize that CBDCs will accomplish this kind of seizure at the push of a button.

Lots of people will be released from prison on that claim now
