Yup, tornado watching season is almost here

  1. The supposed adults looking at the tornado. The kids looking at the camera. That's all they have ever know. If there is a camera you are supposed to face it. Weird behavior.

  3. I've been through 1 small tornado, well actually the tail end of one, heading north on I65 above Greenville, Al about an hour after dark... trees down, cars all over the road and two 18 wheelers blown to shit.. I don't want to be in a big one.

    1. It is 'interesting'. I rode out one in a truck camper as a kid. What saved everybody in the campground was the fact we were nestled between two bluffs and behind the dam. So the tornado had to go up and over everything to move forward in its path.

  4. Hell, yes! A cooler, a lawn chair, and my deck--perfect tornado-season setup.
You may guess that I've been here most of my life. I've done tornadoes before.
