Those appear to be empty cans at a bottling plant. How much labor to clean that up? Will any of the fans be saved for use? How much is the same as expressed in time lost on the bottling line?
I wouldn't fire that goober. I'd assign him all the crap jobs and keep him as an example.
Every can in there is scrap now. The slightest dent makes a weak spot in the coating on either side. Sure fired way to get leakers if you try to fill them now.
It’s pretty common to stack empty can pallets 3 high. 4 is pushing it, but it’s done sometimes. I’ve seen plenty of occasions where drivers will train a stick 10 long and 2 high across an empty stretch of warehouse to save trips when loading a truck. Frankly it shocks me this kind of mess doesn’t happen more often.

Numbskull tried to take a short cut by taking a three stack.

Judging by the way all that stuff is stacked, I'm surprised that this isn't a daily occurrence.
ReplyDeleteStonyground.
That's why you only do one pallet at a time.
ReplyDelete"Last Day" comes to mind...
ReplyDeleteLooks like someone did a damn poor job of planning how to stack materials. What did they think would happen? Totally unstable.
ReplyDeleteWhy the F do you even stack pallets that high. That is a set up for disaster eventually.

I lost my job today. You make one little mistake . . .
ReplyDeletePlease tell me the Safeway warehouse wasn’t organized like this.
ReplyDeleteI've seen some pretty spectacular accidents out there.
