Commentary: Senate Republicans Could Pull Off the Unthinkable in Midterms

South Carolina Sen. Tim Scott is nothing if not an optimist. As Senate Republican Campaign Committee lead, Scott (pictured here) hopes to score two seats net in the coming mid-terms. He calls it his “stretch goal”.

    1. If Turtle croaks then the Dem guv'nr of KY gets to name his replacement. Hmmm, with the 2 k*nts from Maine and Alaska that will make for a shitload of arm twisting to avoid a 50-50 standoff. Vance to the rescue!

  2. Question to Senator Scott:
What are you smoking and where can I get some?
There's a better chance Barry and Mike come out of the closet.

  3. Scott is more an opportunist than optimist. Remember that $67K he took from the lobbyists for his vote to move forward on Obama's Trans-Pacific Partnership? Many here in SC remember. We certainly have sent some real gems to Washington DC.

  4. Well they have almost 2 years to get on board or get replaced. So far the on board bunch still needs to grow in number and grow some testicles. America has been defrauded for generations to the tune of 36 trillion dollars and counting . Now is not the time to go along to get along with the people that have benefited from the fraud for future brownie points.

  6. The GOP's motto "Snatching defeat from the jaws of victory."
