California Gov. Gavin Newsom announced he has proclaimed a state of emergency to speed up wildfire prevention projects ahead of the peak wildfire season.
Saturday's announcement comes nearly two months after the Los Angeles area was devastated by wildfires that killed 29 people and destroyed thousands of structures.

Everything talked about in the article should've already been standard practice.
Another state of emergency so Newscum can channel his inner Lenin.. Nothing will change until he and most of the CA legislature are hanging from lampposts.
ReplyDeleteWow!! His speedy reaction boggles the mind.
ReplyDeletetrying desperately to lock the barn door - with your money
ReplyDeleteIt's funny how we haven't heard a peep out of twice failed Congressional candidate Jessica Morse since the SoCal fires. She's the Dem glittering jewel who Gavin appointed as Deputy Secretary for Forest and Wildland Resilience of the California Natural Resources Agency (at $182K/year) after she lost her first run against Tom McClintock in 2018.
ReplyDeleteHer previous job experience includes a stint with US Agency for Intenational Development in the middle east.
This what Gavin considers an 'expert' in 'Forest Resiliency'.
Yeah, Gavin is right on top of things. Like handing out high paying plum jobs to failed Dem wannabe politicians who have no clue about a subject in which they have no real-world experience.
And still, 51+% of Kalifornia ijiots will continue voting for him.
ReplyDelete51+% of the votes counted will be for him. Nobody knows what the actual votes were.
