This is why we can't have nice things

MORGAN HILL, Calif. (KGO) -- Suspects who police say were attempting to steal the copper in light poles were caught and arrested Tuesday night in Morgan Hill, but not before thousands of dollars worth of damage was done.

  1. Maybe they should start manufacturing electric wire out of Platinum to keep the lure of Copper from the Tweekers.

  2. Base the felony level on the cost of the damages not the value of the wire as many D jurisdictions do.

  3. Little curious why this is here. This stuff happens every day all over the place. Meth heads are the main culprits around where I am.

There's not even someone with a funny name in the article! Did I miss something?

    1. Well John, I do one post per hour from midnight to 4pm and to do that, I hit 24 news sites each and every day. That alone takes me about an hour, hour and a half every single morning. Unfortunately, I can't always find stories about flying dildos or nekkid wimmens assaulting people in Walmart, so I have to use what I can find.
But hey! if you think you can do a better job, then have at it, partner.

    3. Nah, it's fine. You do great. I didn't know you were holding yourself to a set schedule though. Thought I'd missed someone named "nophead copperhand" or something equally ironic.

  5. This should be deemed an act of terrorism for looting, destroying vital services and civilization. Perpetrators should be shot on sight/site...maybe with a 22, so they can't run as far or fast. It's up to the shooter, bigger if you want, but always be mindful of what's beyond your intended target, shooting in public could be dangerous for collateral damage. One MUST confine damage to the offending perpetrator.
Don't screw this up folks, too many misses and you KNOW the City or County will require you and ONLY your designated firearm to be tested and certified/permitted, for legal pestilence control. Be careful out there.

  6. Need to let the crackheads know there's 5-lbs of copper in each one of those license-plate scanner traffic cam's and 10 lbs in the speed cameras.
