Your Feel-Good Story of the Week

A dying Labrador named Honey had her last wish granted by kind truck drivers who offered to take her for a ride.

The dog came into a local nonprofit's care after her owner, Gabe, died. The geriatric dog was already 14 and her caretakers wanted to make her last days special.

it like taking your old dog for that last hunt, doesn't matter if they jump anything up

    2. Yeah, Dave, I know. I was just trying to be funny. I'm glad for all involved. The dog, of course, but also all the people who made this happen. They got something out of this, too. Helping a 'dumb animal' have a good day is good for the soul. I just hope when her time comes, they give her a Hershey Bar right before they put the needle in. Every dog deserves to taste chocolate before they get to Heaven.

    3. Down near the bottom of the article:
On Monday, SOAR shared on social media that Honey had died after her final ride. They shared a video of Honey with Gabe and wrote, 'We wish we could've met him while he was here, and it was our honor to serve Honey while she waited to join him.'

    2. People who have had NDEs (Near Death Experiences) have said that ALL of the pets that have passed on greet them when they reach the afterlife and await their final reunion when the person has passed on. The love that you have showered them with will be returned many times over.
