Extra Crispy Deep Fried Deviled Eggs

  1. Never ever boil your eggs!
    Steam them! Cold, room temp, doesn't matter. Ten minutes or so. Let them cool. They will peel perfect every time. Don't believe me, try it one time. You'll never boil an egg again.

    1. I use my Insta Pot to pressure steam them, shells come off super easy. It's pretty much the only thing I cook in it.

  3. I have to admit that I love fried foods. Was really wondering how you'd do that to a deviled egg though, wouldn't the yolk just be mush and dissolve in the oil?

    Yes, it would. The recipe calls for deep-frying the egg WHITE, not the whole egg, and adding the yolk stuff back on as normal.
