You might be able to find a place that does it for free for seniors. My local library has volunteers who do it there. For a lot of folks our age, it's pretty much the same every year, just a tiny change in the actual numbers.
There were a few years where I waited til the 15th to mail in, because I owed, and fuck the IRS/gov. Let them fucking wait when they force me to send them MY money under threat of violence.
Years ago before the days of e-file when we had to mail in paper returns, I had to send them a check a few times instead of getting a refund. I always addressed the envelope to the, "Eternal Revenue Disservice."

ReplyDeleteThe last couple years, I've been taking mine to H&R Block as soon as I get all my paperwork. The fee they charge me is well worth it.
