We've been to a couple of ghost towns here, and some remains of the Overland Trail Stations. Very interesting stuff to see.

The Dolores River has some very cool canyons along its path--the Unaweep-Tabeguache scenic byway is a beautiful drive in far western Colorado. The river runs into Utah NW of Gateway, CO, eventually dumping into the Colorado River.
