Lots of holes in this story, primarily to cover for the other cop, his lack of training and the poor trigger control..... It's a shame Officer Rivera was killed but like I said, lots of holes.. JD
Officer 1: There is a gun reported. We will let this call go and wait for an accident to respond to. Officer 2. No. We can handle this. Call it in. Officer 1: Well.. I thought I had a clear shot and then she stepped in front of me. My bad.
Let me get this right. You have no idea what the shooter looks like but yet suspect this is a DEI problem? At this point the only acceptable scenario in which you would not point to DEI is if the shooter was a white straight man. Female shooter=DEI, black shooter=DEI, asian shooter=DEI, have no idea what the shooter looks like=DEI.
Are non white/straight/males allowed any jobs without the accusation of being a DEI hire?
During transport, the vehicle caught fire near 59th Street and Cottage Grove, forcing officers to transfer her to another patrol car. Well, crap! So the guy they were after didn't fire a shot. But, he's going down for murder, right?
Backup officers rushed Rivera to the University of Chicago Hospital in a squad car. During transport, the vehicle caught fire near 59th Street and Cottage Grove, forcing officers to transfer her to another patrol car.
'Snelling said investigators had detained “several” people in the area, including one person they specifically believe was on the scene when officers were confronted by the individual who had a rifle.'
CPD officers: "Here's your story, repeat after me...."

Anon 1:06 No.
DeleteWhich is one of the evils of DEI. Anyone who isn't a straight, white male has to prove they weren't hired just because of DEI.

ReplyDeleteSounds like the worst offenders of gun safety are the first responders.

Were there acorns involved?
ReplyDeleteThe guy with the rifle will get charged with homicide. A death during a commission of a felony
ReplyDeleteMaybe this was an accidental shooting....and maybe this was an "accidental" shooting.
