#6 I have a hard time imagining someone stupid enough to grab their phone instead of a fire extinguisher under those circumstances. It's obviously possible though. #9 Keeping a lawnmower functional long enough for the deck to rust through? In the dry climate I'm in, that would be quite an accomplishment. I suppose it'd be easier where it's wetter though.
#9 I dunno, looking closely it appears the deck might be flabberglass. Blade bent and nailed the deck perhaps? POS crap being made these days blows my mind sometimes.
Not that bad but still bad, a section of US 250 in Wv near Cameron is called The Dragon Highway. Not much fun to drive in bad weather. https://maps.app.goo.gl/eb1QZTDgXEg1iWHw6
#1 Was remodeling the restrooms at a CVS in Walnut Creek, CA a few years ago. We would close one and leave the other one open. It was a 24 hour store and being Cali, they let every homeless Tom, Dick and Jane in the place. Three different times, some asshole went in to the one we were working on and sh!t in the corner. Being the superintendent, I cleaned up the first mess, but after that, I made store personnel clean it up because they were the idiots letting the homeless have the run of the store.
6: House is gonna smell for weeks. 9: My dad bought a John Deere lawn mower when I was really young, back in the late 70s. He eventually had to retire it because it needed some part that was no longer made, in the early 2010s. Not a spot of rust on that thing, it looked like new even. It would still be in the family today if he had the patience to track that part down. I guess you get what you pay for.

ReplyDelete6. Just set it and forget it.
ReplyDelete9. My mower is rusting out too, after 12 years. I have some sheet metal riveted on so I can attach the wheels.

Reminded me of a road heading west towards Eugene Oregon, in my '87 Ford 3/4 ton van, at one hair pin I had to do a 3 point turn...
DeleteI can't believe turning on the windshield wipers on #2 . Windshield is dry so they just thought it would pluck the bolt out
ReplyDelete# 8 Or the idiot who tried to take a semi over Hagerman Pass in CO (when a rockslide closed I-70) 'because my GPS showed there's a road'.
ReplyDelete#7 - "What's the problem officer ?"

#9) Wet, rotting grass clippings are every bit as corrosive to steel as calcium chloride and rock salt are.
ReplyDelete#6 - someone taking blackened cajun cooking to the next level!
