Berlin 1945 : The End Has Come | Diary of a Metropolis (Uncensored Footage)

The Battle for Berlin has begun. Step by step, the soon-to-be victorious powers advance. On April 30th, the Red Flag flies over the Reichstag and Adolf Hitler takes his own life. It takes another seven days before the Wehrmacht disassembles. National Socialism is finally defeated; along with Germany, and Berlin. Not only a defeat, but also a liberation for many.

    1. Amen to that.

The more I learn about WW2 the more I question things. Gen. Patton said after the war was over we'd fought the wrong people. And then died in a fishy auto accident right afterwards. Search David Irving - books available for download all over. Of course Pres. Franklin Rososevelt allowed Pearl Harbor to happen. And was a closet communist. And ol' Winston Churchill was a POS bought off by a certain tribe and their bankers.

Ain't nothing what it seems. We've been screwed.

  2. That was excellent. Don't usually watch stuff online but that one pulled me in right away. Parts of it brought tears to my eyes.

    1. That's actually part 3 or 4 of a series. I bet I hadn't seen 99% of that footage.

  3. Sadly "Never Again" only lasted 80 years.

  4. "The World At War," A groundbreaking 26-part documentary series narrated by the actor Laurence Olivier about the deadliest conflict in history, World War II. Soul crushing.

  5. Guys, I actually have a PhD in Modern European History, and I can say from a professional viewpoint, that was a pretty well done program. A lot of the "historical" stuff I see online has me rolling my eyes or yelling and throwing stuff. This was not one of them. Thanks for posting it, Wirecutter.

  6. That was a well done video. Of course, falling into the YouTube rabbit hole of WW2 videos for 5 hours afterwards.....

  7. Great video, with one big error. Hitler did not commit suicide in Germany. He left Germany before the end of the war and secretly went to Argentina. Read the book "Grey Wolf" by Simon Dunstan and Gerrard Williams if you want all the proof. Or, watch the video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d2nphF53nYU.

    1. Kenny, I understand. Before COVID I would have said the same thing. But, as I began to research the origin of Covid, and the jab that was given "emergency authorization." It was not long before I came to the conclusion that _everything_ the government was telling us was a lie. As a strong constitutional patriot and Vietnam veteran my whole internalized understanding of life in the United States unraveled. Working back it is easy to see that Biden did not win the election, that 9/11 was not the result of commercial airliners, Epstein did not commit suicide, Kennedy was not killed by Oswald, etc. Instead of trust in my government I have trust in the fact that some individuals will do anything for money and power. If you have a good way to sort government truth from lies, please share it. Thanks.

    2. Hold up, now. I don't believe everything the government says but I also don't believe every conspiracy theory that's thrown out about anything even slightly controversial.
While I don't believe Hitler's and Eva Braun's bodies were the ones found in the ditch (I believe it's Mark Felton's channel that makes a very compelling argument against that), I also don't believe he left the country for Argentina.
The simple fact of the matter is we'll never know.
