TOMPKINSVILLE, Ky. – A Monroe County woman is charged regarding allegedly riding a horse while intoxicated.
According to a uniform citation, the Tompkinsville Police Department received a call on Thursday regarding a reported animal abuse case involving people striking a horse off of West Fourth Street.

Maybe I missed something in that article, she was drunk on a horse, is that really against the law ? Also not assisting in your arrest is not the same as resisting, are you required by law to assist in your own arrest .. and passing out when drunk is normal so that's also not resisting...

DeleteIt is a DUI in NC. A horse is considered a "vehicle", just like a car, bicycle, etc.
