  1. #2, that much power in that small a package... Reminds me of when Ford was making Mustang II cars with BIG engines for highway patrol agencies to use as highway interceptors. Every agency I heard of had a rule that their troopers assigned to them had to take a special class before they could drive them.

    1. TX wrecked (none that were totaled TMK) their first few. But yeah....we used to call the Crown Vics "pursuits" but the damn Mustangs "Interceptors". My brother was doing well over 100 mph on a stretch of stright highway in SE TX when he passed a patrol car on the side. He said he then saw lights directly behind him and pulled over...... ended up being a Mustang Interceptor... He had almost finished the ticket when the patrol car he passed finally got to them. He said he still doesn't know where the Mustang came from.. he does remember the trooper grinning...... late 80s??

    2. Late '80s would be the Mustang III (Fox-body).

    3. I grandfather work for TX DPS and ordered one of those Mustangs through them. That things was awesome! I was allowed to drive it twice: once on a back road to prove my 16 year old driving skills...and once by myself to the pick up something for a family party. The second time I probably didn't go above 40 MPH...out of fear of the engine and my grandfather!

  6. #1 has too much power for light weight rear end. That thing would be vicious with AWD or full time 4 wheel drive.

  7. Those spillways are no laughing matter. 10 years ago in Des Moines, a boat got caught in one, capsized and dumped the couple overboard.
A construction worker nearby swung out on the end of a crane and pulled the lady to safety. Unfortunately her husband drowned.
Although the construction worker was rightly hailed a hero, he felt he had failed because he hadn't saved the the woman's husband.

    1. You're not kidding about spillways. I've seen a sign used on some that calls it a drowning machine, the way the water flows just about sucks under anyone who gets caught in it.

    1. You know, I was thinking the exact same thing. Must confess I'm not familiar enough with eastern cultures to even guess how likely they are to be thinking "My heart is full of love for my saved pup!" vs. "Great! Found something for dinner!" *shrugs*

    1. Yeah. Maybe a science fair experiment? It looks as though the rats are trained to get in it.

  13. #1 ... Greta queefed when she saw that smokestack.
#5 ... When axe-throwing suddenly burst on the scene, my first thought was, "They're going to let chicks throw sharp weapons? On purpose? This isn't going to end well."

    1. #5 I’d put axe throwing in the same category as piano lifting as a fun sport

    2. How do you feel about hatchet-slashes?

    3. You should one-hand hatchets and small axes. Only use double-hand when throwing a felling axe.
