    1. You have something against hot pink? It's a high-visibility color that the other guys on the jobsite will refuse to use.

      I've no idea how many of my tools have missed being stolen because I painted them all hot pink, but I know damned well it's more than one. And the high-visibility color alone has saved me more than the cost of paint and the time to apply it in lost tools alone.

      No joke: On a jobsite with 300+ guys working in various crews, had someone return a craftsman wrench to me. Still no idea who he was, buy everybody knew who the pink tools belonged to. And I got to skip replacing a $15+ 9/16 wrench.

      No giving a hot damn what other people think about you helps too though, got to admit that.
