No, our forebears told them to fuck off because of taxation, *some* of our forebears banned nonwhite, and especially non-english immigration, and other forebears said "dat's raaayciss" and overturned that law, allowing a wave of diverse immigration, then their descendants slowed that, then in 1965 the gates were thrown wide fucking open, dirt-people imported en-masse, and within the next two decades 90 percent of our industries had been offshores, and the rest had been inshored with H1B holders within a decade or two after that. Now we can't even build ships as fast as South Korea can! England is bored, but we're hardly better off. The reports got kind of close to admitting that the fire at Notre Dame was deliberate when they said that the fire started in the roof while immigrant workers were working up there.

I think they were scared that if they came out and said it was deliberately set by a camel fucker, there would have been ......unrest. Personally, the frogs didn't do anything after Hebdo, or the Bataclan attack, they weren't going to do anything after Notre Dame.
6 years ago, while on vacation my son needed stiches in England. We are not British and had to pay full price. It took 30 minutes and cost us $50. For British kids it would have been free. Our healthcare system is fucked-up beyond repair. Pretending that other countries have problems anywhere close to ours is completely wrong. We are much, much, much worse.
Just for reference, the $50 bill included a $0.3 aspirin. In contrast there is NOTHING I can get from and American hospital that is $0.3.

And all of that is caused by government intervention. Inparticular, medicare and the stupid "must treat everybody who shows up" law for emergency rooms. Did you know the local hospital needs approval from the federal government before adding or removing beds?
