CASPER — A 31-year-old Casper man accused of trying to burn down the house of his ex-boyfriend allegedly made sure he saved his pet snake from the fire, according to investigators.
Along with the snake he also saved his gerbil from the fire, but sadly it died from asphyxiation due to an extended exposure to intestinal gas shortly afterwards.

Well props on the snake, should've found the two cats before you decided to burn the place down.
