When you're that fucking lonely...

Minutes after vandalizing 17 cars in a Missouri college parking lot, a 19-year-old sophomore had a lengthy ChatGPT conversation during which he confessed to the crime, asked about the possibility of getting caught, and wondered, “is there any way they could know it was me,” according to a police probable cause statement.

  1. My psychiatrist alter ego says his self-esteem is ebbing very low due to parental & peer rejection; therefore this escapade is evidence he's reaching out for much needed attention and acceptance in the community. Unfortunately, since he's a lily-white cracker he'll spend a 5 spot in the state pen getting daily prostate massage therapy from 300 lb black daddies that will further his antisocial behavior through out his lifetime.

  2. This is a weird story.
But cell phone data location is a wild card, towers cover an area and cannot pinpoint your specific location. Saying that if you have GPS running or lock into a particular wifi at the location then shit is going downhill for you.... Moral of the story is don't be a dumbass and if you do demand a warrant and attorney at the very beginning of any encounters with the po po
    Oh and don't do crime

    1. Smartphone location data is recorded at GPS-level precision. I don't think you can turn it off. They get a warrant for your phone. It's really awkward when they confront the suspect with location data during an interrogation. "Okay, you weren't at the scene. But your phone was. Can you explain that?"

Don't do crime, and when you do, tape your smartphone to a bus or something.

    2. Data location is not reliable enough to point to you hitting a car or the other dumb shit he did. They would need either camera video, your confession or anything you recorded on your phone and didn't lock it.
As to your other point, get a warrant and get busy by-passing the lock...
If you keep your cool you'll have a lawyer way before they get that phone open and they can talk to the lawyer.

  3. A White kid busting up cars and wilding in a campus parking lot at 3 am. Isn't that technically cultural appropriation? Next thing you know, he'll be trashing a Burger King over cold fries.
