  1. Seeing #1 beside my car would be horrifying. Bad enough I've seen a rusty fender drop off a PU Truck in front of me once.

#3 cute until you're sitting on that chair and try to move it.

#4 I've seen that before, an emergency repair until you can do better.

#9 when that lets go, I hope no kids or pets are under that.

    #6 and # 10 OSHA screaming...

As an aside in NH some "brilliant" Democrat "Leadership" eliminated state safety inspections. Saying the "Bills from finding problems" were too onerous.

SMH, already we've had "HOW DID THAT pass" moments like that falling off rusty fender.

    1. Oklahoma got rid of vehicle inspections due to both demand and a slight problem. There were counties where there was one place that would do them, and they would just take the fee and put the new sticker on. None of the state troopers who checked inspection stations would yank their license because nobody was going to drive to the next county for that sticker, and would raise hell with the Capitol.

      So that program was killed.

    2. There's also the issue of cost/benefit. Vehicle safety inspections AFAIK, haven't been shown to actually increase safety much, and they cost LOTS of money, most of it paid by the people in compliance costs, not the government.

IMHO they're evil and need to go away.

  3. 4. PA is full of grid "bandaids" like that one.
    8. Spraying vodka on old wool clothing removes the musty smell - I have a cheap pint that a spray head fits that looks just like that.
