Roger everybody above. I've got 4 dogs from the 10lb chihuahua mix, 2 female mutts 35 and 60lbs and a 90lb, male, 3/4 Malinois, 1/4 German Shepherd mix. Guess I'm addicted to dogs. We also have a 5 year old male, black cat that was raised, trained by our female dogs, so he thinks he's a dog, a superior dog. It probably goes without saying, but I prefer dogs for company over people. Except for my wonderful bride of 47 years.
If you don't like my dog most likely your not invited to my house nor ever will be. A comment from some that visited before "get away from me dog" they've NEVER BEEN BACK.
Our military dogs in Nam were medicated regularly, even in their food. Small cuts you might get on patrol were often treated by the dog. Get cut - call the handler - dog licks cut - all better. Dog spit is antibacterial. Best I heard was "Medic!" .. "I'm busy! Call the mutt!" .. "Hey Sarge, I need your dog!" KL
