  3. My little Teddy broke his back last year and ended up paralyzed. Got him to the vets within a couple hours but by the time we got him to a specialist it was too late. He weighed 25 pounds and at the time I was post surgery for shoulder replacement and couldn't lift and my wife couldn't handle him( she ended up breaking her back a few weeks later, luckily I took her to a different vet ). With our issues and the dogs, both vets recommended euthanasia. It was the right decision but I regret not being able to give him more.

    2. Sorry to hear that TSGT Joe. We just went through the same thing kind of. It helped a lot that my grandson (who lives with us) had bought a Boykin. The dog’s name is Bo but my wife and I call him crackhead.

  4. There's something I never expected to see. How did they end up with so many dogs with busted rear ends all in one place? I gather it's some sort of rescue operation?

    1. I am asking the same question & wondering why so many dogs have this need & how we can prevent it (when possible)?

    2. How can we prevent it? I don't know, maybe shoot them?
