11: as always, the dose makes the poison. NaF is for sure deadly as shown because you can ingest a lethal dose easily. Same applies to NaCl (common salt), and NaBr or NaI. There's really good evidence that fluoride hardens tooth enamel. The question about its effect on IQ is a lot less clear (remember, around three-fourths-90% of psych studies can't be replicated at all) but that said, there is a good case to do further studies. Now, how do you do that ethically? (You can't; so the studies are necessarily diary studies, notorious for bad data). It's a real problem.
