What, our drugs aren't good enough?
Two men are accused of smuggling over 750 pounds of the illegal stimulant “khat” into the United States by packing the drug into a dozen checked suitcases and bringing them on a flight from Africa to O’Hare International Airport, according to a state criminal complaint. Prosecutors said the substance cathinone, commonly known as khat, has “no acceptable medical use” and presents “a high degree of addiction.”
