A Blast From The Past

Kenyan-born US Senate hopeful, Barrack Obama, appeared set to take over the Illinois Senate seat after his main rival, Jack Ryan, dropped out of the race on Friday night amid a furor over lurid sex club allegations.
The allegations that horrified fellow Republicans and caused his once-promising candidacy to implode in four short days have given Obama a clear lead as Republicans struggled to fetch an alternative.

  1. No way, Is this real or is it a "new" story with an old twist...If its an actual article by the AP - Where was the out rage when they printed he was Kenyan-Born ?

  6. This was how he was elected in 04. Dirty tricks against the strongest Republican in the race. And it was a few months before his big coming out party at the 04 Demo convention.
    So, I could see the name being misspelled, especially by the East African Standard.

  7. There's a few articles I found last night referring to him as Kenyan born or born overseas. This article is debunked at Snopes, for whatever that's worth. I personally think Snopes can be full of shit as evidenced by one of their articles I challenged as I have personal knowledge that what they claim is true isn't. They pretty much blew me off after an e-mail exchange so I wouldn't think they're the arbiters of all that is true all the time.
