Yeah, we got lots of money for this bullshit

The top Democrat on the House Energy and Commerce Committee is urging Republicans to hold a hearing in the lame-duck session on links between climate change and Hurricane Sandy.
Rep. Henry Waxman’s (D-Calif.) letter to the committee’s chairman, Rep. Fred Upton (R-Mich.), makes Waxman the latest of several Democrats to cite the massive storm when calling for tougher action to battle global warming.
Wednesday’s letter argues that regardless of what happens at the ballot box in November, “the election should be a time to return to fact-based policymaking.”
“Hurricane Sandy is exactly the type of extreme weather event that climate scientists have said will become more frequent and more severe if we fail to reduce our carbon pollution. That is why we are writing to request that you hold a hearing on the storm and its relation to climate change in the lame-duck session,” Waxman and Rep. Bobby Rush (D-Ill.), a top lieutenant on the committee, wrote.

This is why we're broke. Actually bullshit like the House Energy and Commerce Committee is why we're going broke.
Motherfuckers, spend your time wisely while you serve us.

  1. It didn't take long for Al Gore and his minions to craw out from under rock's to spew this bubullshit again. Famed Penn State meterologist JOE BASTARDI says it is a weather cycle exactly like it was in the1950's when the Atlantic ocean is warm and Pacific is cold and more bands storms are in store for the east coast. He is an anti-global warming realist. I his assessment over the global warming Nazis and profitiers.

  2. We have not been hit by a category 3 or stronger hurricane in 7 years. The last time that happened was 100 years ago. So much for global warming's bigger stronger storms. There are man made causes for the extent of the destruction but they are things like overbuilding, old infrastructure, and failure to trim trees that overhang power lines, not global warning.

  3. Gee... I guess the US has never had a fucking storm before.
I was raised in South Florida in the 60's and remember the hurricanes. I'm also old enough to remember the 70's, when the same brand of hysterical idiots were bleating about how we were all going to freeze to death.
Any excuse for government to take over more of our economy and our lives. (and wreck said economy)
I am about to turn 54. THE AIR AND WATER IS NOW CLEANER THAN IT HAS BEEN IN MY LIFE! Look up the statistics, they are hard to find, but are there. I'm too lazy to post links here for mostly like-minded people. Never hear such stuff on the news media do you? Not even on Fox.
Climate change? What a crock of shit!
Just like my guns, they will have to pry my Corvette and Harley keys, along with my Big Green Egg grill, from my cold dead fingers!!

  4. Why don't they hold hearings on the link between why we are so fucking in the debt hole and the fact that there hasn't been a budget passed since asshole took the oath of office?
