Well, that wasn't much of a choice

JACKSON, Miss. (AP) — Mississippi will fly a new state flag with a magnolia and the phrase “In God We Trust,” with voters approving the design Tuesday. It replaces a Confederate-themed flag state lawmakers retired months ago as part of the national reckoning over racial injustice.

The magnolia flag was the only design on the general election ballot, and voters were asked to say yes or no. A majority said yes.

    1. I think that Obama did that by shining the colors of the rainbow onto the people's White House, when they passed gay marriage. Myself, I don't really care if they let gays get married. My problem is, is marriage an institution of the state, or one of the church. If it is of the state, then they cannot really ban any marriage to consenting adults, under the equality clause. But if it is an institution of the church, then the government should have absolutely no say at all in the issue, including who can be married, or what qualifies a person to get married.

    2. "They can’t erase memories."

Actuarial tables take care of memories. Sooner or later, everyone who remembers will be gone.

  3. And THAT folks, is how Communism got a foothold in this country.

Whats the problem?! The people got to vote!

I remember as a teen watching the evening news and laughing at Dan Rayher reporting on election results in Bananna republics around the globe, bragging about their 90% voter turnout, and only 1 candidate!
But hey, the people did get to vote!

    AMERIKA!

Maybe that can be a new form of protest? If Dipshit and The Whore pull off this heist, only use the 'k'orrect spelling when mentioning our country in print.

  5. Georgia's old, old flag had the state seal with the Confederate Battle flag. Then in the dark of night, they changed it to some silly POS which caused an uproar. We now have the state seal with the Stars and Bars. It hasn't caused trouble so far since most people don't know what the Confederate National Flag looked like.

  6. Odd how that flag, free speech and all those statues never offended anyone when Obama was in office

  7. Mind you, they'll remove, "In God We Trust" in short order...

    1. I'm sure the lawsuit is being prepared right this minute.

"But-but-but it's our national motto! It's on our money!" Interesting court case in a state that's heavily pro-Jesus.

      More chaos...

    2. I don't know about that. We have cop cars wih "In God We Trust" on them all over the state. Whenever anyone objects TPTB tell them to go fuck themselves.

  8. "voters were asked to say yes or no"

Expect to see A LOT more of that kind of "choice" going forward, eventually turning into "Yes or boxcar"
