I was in uptown Charlotte one day waitin' on the bus (back when I first got here after a divorce, and jobless/penniless) and saw a black dude wearing an honest-to-god coonskin cap. There was a homeless guy nearby, and when he saw it, he called out, "Who the fuck're you, Daniel Coon?" Hilarity ensued.
