Poor defenseless wolves.....

A pack of wolves mauled woman to death in a Swedish zoo

The woman was killed this morning after going into the enclosure at the Kolmården zoo, in central Sweden.
She was then attacked after being surrounded by the wolves, said eyewitnesses.
It is understood that visitors at the zoo witnessed the horrific attack which happened at 11am this morning.
Emergency services then could not rescue the victim when she was savaged by the wild animals as they feared for their own lives.
Emergency services coordinator Jan Tengeborg told Aftonbladet newspaper: "You can’t just go in to a pack of wolves. Police and ambulance staff couldn’t get close to the victim until later."
Olof Liberg, wolf expert at Sweden’s University of Agricultural Sciences, said: "It’s very unusual for something like this to happen, but it has happened before.
"Zoo animals aren’t afraid of humans and accidents can happen".
Mr Liberg said wolves are especially dangerous when a zookeeper goes in to an enclosure alone.

I'm sorry, I can't quit laughing. Go in and pet the noble animals and get your dumb ass killed for your efforts..... fuck, those childhood illusions crash hard, don't they?
The only thing that would have made it better would be if the victim was one of the PETAphiles that gave me shit over my Big Bad Wolf post.

And as an update, Brock sent this LINK in. Go and read what an Indian Patriot has to say about it.

  1. A Spokesman for the wolves explained that the woman was not wearing a burka and was therefore given a punishment considered appropriate according to sharia law. The Swedish Prime Minister and President Obama both apologized to the wolves, and Obama appointed a "Wolf Czar" and created a 1 million dollar grant for them

  3. Eighteen Indians Eaten Up. (Reuter's Tele-gram.)
Winnipeg, Tuesday. News has reached here that a band of Indians encamped on the shore of Lake Winnipeg were recently attacked by about 200 ravenous wolves. Eighteen men, women, and children were devoured by the animals, only two men escaping to tell the awful fate of their companions. (Yorkshire Evening Post, February 3rd, 1891)

  4. Didn't anybody bother to read Little Red Riding Hood to these people? Little Red and the Wolf did NOT live happily ever after.

  5. "Zoo animals aren't of afraid of humans and accidents can happen." Are you fucking kidding me? This is what PETA has done. Turned an Apex predator into a soft loveable character from a childs bedtime story. Its a fucking wolf. They hunt in packs and will kill and eat whatever prey is stupid enough to present itself. I feel sorry for the next generation. they truly will be a disillusioned youth.

    ( In general)
Ain't nothing like the predator that has been leaking into the suburbs care of section 8 from the urban enviroment. And the predation will only get worse. Grow some. It should be fun. AE

  9. The article at the "source" link states the woman was a zookeeper at the park. As a former zookeeper myself, I infer she had entered the enclosure with the animals before many times. I also infer tht she became complacent and did not take into account that habituated wild animals are still WILD ANIMALS and the ones with teeth can kill you. Happily. I used to work with a river otter who we did not intereact with directly--after she attacked another keeper. Much much smaller than a wolf, and a single animal not a pack.

The article also states there were no witnesses to the attack; the body was found after fellow keepers did not hear from her by radio for too long and went looking for her. This is a different situation from a PETA nutcase climbing the fence to "be one with the wolves," in which case I would laugh just as hard. Bunny-huggers are scary folk. Knowing this was a keeper who did something complacent and stupid merely makes me sad. Never forget a predator is a predator, and use appropriate precautions when working near them.

Love your blog; my husband and I come here often.
