Ah yes, Lake County - home to more drug addicts and people on welfare than any county in California. As far as that goes, a good county wide fire there would clear out a lot of the crappy, shoddily built "homes" that people put up there.
I actually saw a doublewide trailer with a truss roof on it in Lake. Along with a slew of other really creative "homes", a lot of which were vacation cabins from the thirties and forties. The story is they hired a code enforcement officer who quit his first week because he didn't know where to start writing citations first.
