  6. Be willing to identify the year (1989) and the place (Heilbron, GE) of that photo.
    Or one exactly like that. I can even identify the guy in the photo....but couth prevents me from doing so. Sorry John, just can't tell them ;-)

  7. No shit? I was in Heilbronn from 1978 to 81, first in D co. 26th Sig Bn, then B co. 44th Signal Battalion, up at the top of the hill at Wharton Barracks.

  9. Fucking A, We used to do the cross run at least a couple of times during the week for extra PT, and then do it for grins during the weekend. It was an asskicker for sure, wasn't it? It never got easy, I don't care how many times you ran it.
    Was Stubes (right outside the gate) still there?
    My MOS was 36D20, tower team.

  11. And, no, I don't remember much right outside the gate. I think there was an assisted move with anything that close to the front gate. Uncle Sam's and Fuc Wah chinese. Too many nights in Uncle Sam's. (or so I've been told...I don't remember many)
