Fuck the National Rifle Association

Meanwhile, the National Rifle Association, silent since the shootings, said in a statement that it "is prepared to offer meaningful contributions to help make sure this never happens again." There was no indication what that might entail. The group, the best-known defender of gun rights in America, scheduled a news conference for Friday.
Found in this article RIGHT FUCKING HERE

*****

There it is in black and white for all you NRA motherfuckers. You dumbasses just got sold down the river and got your faces rubbed in it to boot.
Yeah, keep paying your dues to have your Rights taken away. I have a better idea of what to do with your money - click on the III Congress picture in my sidebar and pledge 10 bucks a month to where it'll do some fucking good.

  4. Oathkeepers members are offering free firearm/self defense training to teachers.

best solution possible in my opinion is to properly arm the teachers. If ya can't trust 'em with a gun, ya can't trust 'em with your kids.

  5. "Meaningful contributions" doesn't necessarily mean they are going to sell us out. While I'm a bit concerned they might. I'll wait to hear their statement. I can't believe they are going to sit back and allow ANY NEW LEGISLATION without a fight. If they do, YEP no more dues, bumper stickers pulled, card cut up...

  6. Anon #1 - you apparently didn't read my first or second posting on the NRA and why I have such a shitty opinion of them.
Fuck you, go away and remember your words when they do compromise your 2A Rights which is all they 'due' so they can keep their cushy jobs at the members expense.
They're lobbyists, asshole. Even they admit to that.

  7. I have been an NRA member, of-and-on, for 20 years.

My membership expired November of this year, and I will not be renewing...but not because of this.

I will not be renewing because they simply aren't hard-core enough for my tastes.

  8. I'm cautiously optimistic, as I usually am.

Emphasis on the "cautiously" portion. I already support my state organization (TSRA) to a greater degree than I ever have the NRA... there's the possibility that they will sponsor training for any school district interested in training and arming teachers. If they do something along those lines I'd be happy to see it.

Lock stepping with Dicks, Walmart, and CTD will banish them from any consideration by me forever more.

  9. Anon #1, I am a life member of the NRA but when they backed Hairy Reid just because he stole money from the fedgov for a new NRA shooting range, I was DONE with the stupid assholes. Fuck'em, there is not a nickel's worth of difference between 'em. Once again in case you did not hear me, FUCK THE NRA!!!

8000+ new members a day. While your III guys argue over which Super 8 motel to stay at. Yeh I'm sure feinstein is pretty worried about your group. Its time to rally around the NRA. After this is over if ever, different fragments can go back to their pissing matches.

  13. The NRA has helped write _every_ major piece of gun control legislation since 1934. And if some deluded fool tells you they did so to "water it down", they are demonstrating how ignorant they are.

I was an NRA member for over twenty years, before I woke up and smelled the bullshit, right after they helped pass the Lautenberg Amendment.
