Minneapolis riots spill over to St Paul, 3rd Precinct burns

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) — Minneapolis has entered the fourth day of unrest in the aftermath of George Floyd’s death, with rioters taking over the police department’s 3rd Precinct building late Thursday night.

The breach occurred at about 10 p.m., with rioters setting fires inside the building and outside near the main entrance.

I've got friends that run a reptile and pet shop in St Paul. When I 'talked' via IM to Sara last night about 8 PM she said the riots were only 6 blocks from them and headed their way. Their shop is in a concrete building and all but one of their windows are block glass and Bruce was boarding everything up.
I haven't heard from them this morning yet.

7:05: Aaaand I just heard from them - she said they had a late night there but were untouched. She said the rioters pretty much stayed where they were. Hopefully this shit will calm down today.

    1. They're fine. I just heard from them a little bit ago. She said they had a long night, but the rioters pretty much stayed where they were.

  3. The Mayor is a pussy little liberal who beat a hornets nest the other day demanding the cops involved be arrested. Shit went sideways after that and now he calls for calm. They abandoned the precinct and the thugs burned it. Until there are some consequences the thugs are gonna keep thugging and the pussyboy mayor is more concerned about the thugs than the law abiding folks and business owners. I hope your friends have the means to defend themselves. It could be a long hot summer.

  4. Is it worth going to jail in this liberal hellhole by shooting some of these assholes to protect your business?....choices....once you get to that fork in the road, and you take it, as Yogi said, the die is cast and you can never look back....

    1. That went out in the 60's. I prefer the solution to the draft riots in NY during the civil war. Use troops give the rioters 30 seconds to disperse. then start shooting shoot to kill and take NO prisoners. keep advancing until You clean them all out.

    2. Well that would be nice too! Sadly we won't see it happen.

  6. Tell your friends to put a "Black Owned Business" sign in the window along with a couple bottles of Abie's Irish Rose a few cans of Colt45, a tin of Murry's Pomade and put on Governor Ralph Northam masks.

  7. When the cops don't defend their precinct or lift a finger to protect private property, you've lost the battle before it's even begun. Someone at city hall needs to grow a pair.

  8. That cop left a big pile of shit on the street and everyone else has stepped in it, the stench of this is everywhere in that city.
