SANTA FE, N.M. (AP) — The governor of New Mexico invoked the state’s Riot Control Act on Friday as she sealed off all roads to nonessential traffic in the city of Gallup to help control a surging coronavirus outbreak in the former trading post city on the outskirts of the Navajo Nation.
Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham also required that businesses close from 5 p.m. to 8 a.m. in the city of about 70,000 people along Interstate 40.

I'm thinking she hasn't seen a riot yet, but she will soon enough.
If the town's people sees a C130 flying toward their town and the door lows, run like hell. If a big ball comes floating down by parachute then stop and kiss your ass good by.

ReplyDeleteThey can't make the homeless stay in shelters but yet we are expected to stay home?
ReplyDeleteShaking my head, most of New Mexico doesn't have much use for the hippies in Santa Fe.
ReplyDeleteThe Oompa Loompa governess is really digging her heels in. Nevermind that she's allowing Arizona Kung Flu infected to be flown to New Mexico to boost our numbers, because Phoenix won't take them and Flagstaff says they're full.
ReplyDeleteShe's killed the tax base in this state. There is no oil and gas revenue coming in. Mining is pretty much shut down. Ranching and dairy is dying. So, with no tax base, all state workers and teachers are set to get raises come June 1st, unless the legislature reconvenes and rolls back the 2021 budget to 2020 levels.
Oompah Loompah governess is the nice term for her. More and more folks are just calling her, "Thundercunt".
Yup, a tree or a lamp post has her name on it...
ReplyDeleteUntil we start seeing politicians dangling like pinatas this bullshit isn't going to stop....it's just going to get worse.
