Gray seal. About half the size of a leopard seal. Still dangerous, but not as much so as they prefer fish to warmblooded prey, which isn't to say that they won't go after smaller types of seal, they're just not as inclined to as leopard seals. In the water they tend to be curious towards people - it's on land where they get dangerous as that's where the males tend to fight over territory, while in the water people don't register as either threats or food.
A leopard seal though, they'll eat you on land or in the water.
