OKLAHOMA CITY (KFOR) – A letter from the White House and signed by President Trump was sent to Otis Wokaty in mid-April. The body of the letter states that it was sent to acknowledge he was receiving a stimulus payment of $1,200, as millions of Americans have from the CARES Act.
However, the payment was addressed to his mother, Doris. The kicker, she’s been dead for almost two years.

Got mine in the mail a week ago Friday (the check that is, not the letter). Bulk of it's going toward medical bills.
ReplyDeleteTalking with a couple friends ,they're still waiting.
The Living Dead get them because no one told the IRS or Social Security they are dead.
ReplyDeleteMy sister received a physical check made out to our mother who passed away last year. The check had her full name, comma, DECD. Their own database knows she's deceased! The envelope had a box to check if the addressee is deceased, and drop it back in the mail to be returned.
ReplyDeleteI got mine today. The guys at work all had theirs last week. They gave me the full $1200 even though I only got back $1000 from last year. Now I'm wondering if those blood thirsty fuckers are going to screw me next year because I don't let them hold very much of my money. I try to get a few bucks back so as to avoid paying in April is how I try to get it done.
ReplyDeleteI read today that the morons at irs has been sending Stimulus checks to foreign exchange students who went home before the covid BS-19 and now only God knows where those checks are.
ReplyDeleteGot mine via direct deposit on the 30th. I had to go to the irs.gov website (https://www.irs.gov/coronavirus-tax-relief-and-economic-impact-payments) and go through the drill of giving them my checking acct # and routing # which is strange, because they had no trouble finding that checking account three weeks ago to ding it for this year's taxes.
ReplyDeleteBut incompetence from a government agency? Totally unexpected. (eyeroll)
The only stimulus I've received has been the ass-reaming to my retirement funds. The first time I checked the IRS website I got the response that they didn't have enough info to give me a status. I checked again a few days later and was told my info didn't match their records. (Name, address, SSN exactly as entered on my '18 and '19 returns). I guess my $$ will be going to a more deserving illegal alien.
ReplyDeleteTry it again but use all caps when you're filling out the info. My mother-in-law told Lisa that so I gave it a shot last night and it came back saying my check was mailed out on the 1st.
DeleteI don't get a check all I do is pay in so all the illegals and dead can get theirs...
ReplyDeleteWife & I got ours. Sure can use it. This is great for Trump's campaign...sorta like "Who you gonna call" from Gbuster's except like "Who cut you the check"?? President Trump!!
ReplyDeleteWe haven't received one, but that's OK - seems corpses are in more need - I imagine they just sign them over to the DNC, right?
