2 detained in Kansas City after statue of Andrew Jackson vandalized

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Police arrested two 25-year-old men after a statue of President Andrew Jackson was vandalized Thursday afternoon outside the Jackson County Courthouse in downtown Kansas City, Missouri.

A protest group gathered outside the courthouse earlier in the afternoon before the statue was spray-painted with obscenities as well as the phrase "slave owner."

  1. I wonder if Jackson County Executive Frank White Jr. Will be bold and change his last name?

  3. Frank White was well respected as a Golden Glove second baseman for the KC Royals and was also a good clutch hitter. For whatever reason his tenure as an elected official has been dogged by controversy. Kansas City is pretty much run by NAACP/BLM mentality office holders who have one goal in mind, and it has nothing to do with promoting important values that might allow blacks to move forward. It would seem that at the county level White has outlived his usefulness and ought to retire (he is 69 years old). Of interest: one of the 4 terrorists in the DC vandalism of a Jackson statue has ties to the KC area.

Even the hometown "news" paper has serious concerns about White's job performance:
