The 76th anniversary of D-Day prompted journalists and others to compare the Allied soldiers who stormed the Normandy beaches to defeat Nazi Germany to the black-masked anti-cop anarchists accused of wreaking havoc on U.S. cities.

Here in NC, our great governor Roy Boy Cooper had flags lowered to half staff on Saturday. They were not lowered in respect for those who participated and paid the ultimate price storming the beaches of France but for George Floyd. The great young men who stormed those beaches deserve better. Honor them.
