Ghana, considered a gateway of the brutal slave trade to the United States that began more than 400 years ago, is urging “unwanted” Americans of African heritage to resettle within its borders in the wake of the police killing of Minnesota resident George Floyd.
During a memorial and wreath-laying ceremony in honor of Floyd last Friday, Ghana’s Minister of Tourism, Arts, and Culture Barbara Oteng-Gyasi invited African Americans to “re-settle in Ghana if they feel unwanted” in the United States, the Independent Ghana news outlet reported.

ReplyDeleteHas anybody checked George Floyd's grave site to see if his body is still buried? With all the worldwide memorials and speeches on what a fine man he was, somebody should see if the ground at his burial site has opened and if his casket is still intact.

This is once instance where if Congress offered to use taxpayer funds to buy one way tickets I would be on board provided they relinquished us citizenship at the same time.

Here's the TL;DR. Blacks, and to a lesser degree Hispanics, USE MORE than they contribute. Whites and Asians CONTRIBUTE MORE than they take.
A back-of-envelope calculation: suppose a person costs society $20,000 each year (welfare, SNAP, housing subsidy, utilities subsidy, Medicaid, etc). It's an underestimate, but let's go with $20k. Suppose this person lives 50 years (and average black lifespan is in the mid 70's, slightly higher for whites). Twenty kilobucks times 50 years is a cool million. (constant bucks, stupid simple model, I know) But you see how $100k to be rid of an eater/breeder is cheap, if you send them out young, and hopefully before reproducing.
Under your policy, once acceptance is made, they and their spawn would not be allowed to return under any circumstance. They would immediately lose their U.S. citizenship.
