The CHAZ Effect: *Nineteen* 911 Calls Get Zero Response After Burglary, Arson Suspect Held

What would happen if you called 911 and no one answered? Or even worse, they answered but no one bothered to show up — even after you caught the perp yourself? Seattle residents are getting a taste of a community with no police after KIRO-TV reported on an auto shop owner’s travails near the Capitol Hill Autonomous Zone yesterday.

Notice the article says near the illegal occupation and not in it? The fucking police force aren't even pretending to do the job they're being paid for.

  1. Atlanta is having a severe case of the 'blue flu' since last night, ever since they arrested the cop for shooting that guy at the Wendys.

  2. But how near? I've got to go along with the cops on this. If you run the risk of dying when you do your job and the people that hired you will not support you for doing it - F--- 'em.

    1. Yes, I'm with you. I think the cops are likely in the right here. FORCE the governor to use National Guard and if he doesn't it forces Trump's hand to take federal action. These cops may be looking for just that support,

  3. The people in Seattle voted for this. Let them have it.

  4. Dispatch should just give the caller the number of their councilman or mayor to respond.

  5. This is what Seattle, and a lot of cities, have voted for. Now they get a taste of it they just might make better choices in the future.

  6. The general Seattle "police" are not prepared for what they may will run into there. I'm sure we've heard about the reports of wannabe warlords in the so-called chaz passing out semiautomatic rifles. The popo are not trained or equipped to deal with guerilla forces, that would be suicide (even if the guerilla forces are not yet trained, moving a small squad of SWAT against a dug-in threat is going to end badly for the swat). The MAYOR or GOVERNOR needs to call in heavy support (and I would suspect the National Guard would be something of a bloodbath) they need regular army and/or marines... probably with limited close air support as a show of controlling force. Neither of those turds will do anything, and I am beginning to believe that Trump does not want that kind of incident/blood on his hands going into an election cycle.

    1. Just as an aside, what exactly are all the MRAPS, body armor, and M16A2s the Feds handed out like candy for then? Sounds like they are equipped just fine for light infantry roles.

  7. I am with oldvet1950. If the police had a brain, they are home packing, while submitting resume' to rural sheriff departments, or small town police departments.

  8. It's going to get worse.

The Seattle police guild (union) was kicked out of the labor organization they were a part of last night. Those cats know they are on their own in a leftist hive with a governor, mayor, and a police chief who doesn't support them. Most cops aren't in it for "truth, justice, and freedom", they're in it for a paycheck. When the bullshit exceeds they paycheck, they go home.

But then again. I have a hard time feeling sorry for them. The willingness to follow orders and comit atrocities with impunity has alienated them from the society they live in.

  9. There's an Area of Operations and an Area of Interest. The AO is where bad stuff is going on; the AI you keep an eye on. In Seattle, the best thing is to consider the AI "close enough to stay away from." Until/if the city government gets its head out and decides to do something.

  10. Yeah, agree with ildvet.
Priciples aside, at the end of the day, its a paycheck, and it ain't worth dying or going to prison for.

  11. I hate to say it but they voted for this. To quote The One, “Elections have consequences.” Also, fuck Obama

  12. I dunno. Could be the Corona Cooties sweeping through cop shops. Lot of that going around, and it looks like it's going to get a LOT worse.

This is what happens when you make demonizing cops a national sport. You either want public safety or you don't. Put up or shut up.

  13. Cops don't respond after you've caught the perp? OK. All bets off. Kill the perp, bury the body and go about your business.

    1. If you go down that path, I would suggest it is better to NOT call the cops.

  14. And that's the difference between having a constable and peace officer and having hired mercenaries with badges.

  15. Cops have rules of engagement the same as military does. When they are following those rules, and the higher ups do not support them, but feed them to the lions, that gives a disincentive to jump into the breach.
Like the cop who shot the guy who turned and fired a taser at him. A taser can immobilize you, and then, the choir boy can be free to do his best to kill the cop. If he finds a brick, what happens? I don't swear to it, but I bet that I could kill someone lying on the ground, immobile, with a brick. So I would have to shoot the POS and expect my police chief to support me, instead of firing me, before the creep makes it to the morgue.

  16. He didn't say the magic words:

"If you don't get here soon, I might have to start shooting people."

Guaranteed Response. Of course they will arrest you and your employees, let the perp go, and then let the mob loot and burn your business to the ground.
