The US Navy Officially Becomes a Prison for Sailors
Using Coronavirus as an excuse, the US Navy has, effectively, confined all sailors to their barracks or bases for the foreseeable future. MORE -WiscoDave
This progressive commie attitude that the USMIL has.....embraced. Caused them to not get my kids. Each saw what the military has become. A combination of History and News articles bragging of there love of Communism/socialism/progressivism.
All true. As a retired CPO and GS employee, I had to sign a statement saying that I read and understood the order. Noted. My DD-214 protects me from that bullshit, so I went to the casino after work:)
They're a little behind the Army. My grandson is restricted to Ft. Lewis. At least he has his wife and kid with him in housing, so he's not stuck in the barracks like the poor bastards that are single/unaccompanied. This has been for at least two months now.
My youngest son is restricted to a 250 mile radius of his base, and I am restricted to a 250 mile radius of my base. He is 500 miles from my home, and so we will not be celebrating "Independence Day" properly this year. I am confused what the purpose of miswearing the PPE and bow it stops anyone from getting sick. PPE as it is used by the general public is false security, and probably not accomplishing anything good. I can't see how reusing the non M95 or P100 masks does anything to prevent a .03-.08 micron particle from getting through a .3 micron filter. The improvised masks are even less effective and only make the Generally Dumb Public feel like they are making the proper penance and doing "something". Panic is also contagious and group spread can be fatal if not controlled.
It's actually worse, according to my youngest, who's in the Navy. They're all going stir crazy. This is one of those cases where the cure is worse than the disease.
No wonder I was an Aiborne Infantryman. Lawd! What Candyasses!

There is something evil in this order

ReplyDeleteAre they going back to Rum, Sodomy, and the Lash?
ReplyDeleteThank God I was in the Navy back in the 70's. Would not last 10 minutes in the new PC Navy. What a bunch of wusses!
