It's probably a 12". I hit an 8" with a pressure drill and it could feel it trying to lift the 12 ton truck and it flooded the entire grounds and streets within seconds.
I hit a fire main at a school with that same auger truck drilling for a school flag pole - where the main contractors told me to. I knew I was scraping something, but my boss told me to push down. I think I moved the thrusts block and it took a good half hour before I wanted to raise my bit. It was a Friday. My boss took off as soon as he saw water........
