Second stimulus check is very likely coming in July, U.S. Senate says

WASHINGTON, D.C. (Nexstar) — More money could soon be on the way for millions of Americans.

President Donald Trump signaled this week that he supports the idea. Senators say they are weighing all options and are preparing to send some financial relief to Americans as soon as possible.

“It is going to happen, it’s just not going to happen yet,” says Oklahoma Republican Sen. Jim Inhofe.

  1. That'll be nice, but I haven't received the first one. I checked on the web site and it said they need more information. I supplied the information and it said that what I entered didn't match their records. Maybe they'll send it some day.

  4. They sent me an ATM card with a balance on it. Not to brag but if you knew how much I make a year you would be very pissed off. Sending me money literally makes no sense. There is no way to give it back so I think I'm going with a Glock 20 Gen 4 10mm with strobing mounted light.

    1. I have one of those from stream light on a rifle and it is crazy bright. When the suppressor is attached, and it usually is, it kinda makes a big shadow, but it’s basically like having a HID from a new car on the end of your gun. That strobe function is very disorienting unless you are the one holding the gun, but shooting like that would be no problem.

    3. I am still looking for an honorable charity to give them my stimulus money.
No rush, I just want to make sure not tooooooo much of this ends up as 'overhead'.

    4. Wife and I talked about it and since we feel blessed decided to donate our checks, I picked Samaritans purse and my wife picked a local homeless shelter and a food bank. Purely coincidence but my wife's oldest step daughter and her family got flooded out when the dams went here in mid Mich. and it was Samaritans purse helped them clean out their house..(between you and me having 2 adults, a demented beagle, 6 cats then their adult son who came up to michigan to help stay with us for 2 weeks kind of got on our nerves)

    5. While I may not be as comfortable as others, I have been working and even getting in a little rare (Tech Support) OT and doing OK.
I did not need the stimulus monies but figured it was part of a tax return in some ways.
Not like any of us have any power to stop it, although it would have been interesting if the US Treasury received several million returned checks.
Talk about throwing a wrench in the gears!

  5. Great!, I already can't get anybody to work. I'm hearing the same from restaurant owners that I know as well. On the other hand, I've been contemplating a Mini 30, just because

  6. Another day older and deeper in debt we go. I know that some people need the money, just to put food on the table. Instead of screwing around with giving away more money that we don't have, by Cntrl P, they should be researching retrofitting indoor air handling systems to disinfect the air with UV and Ozone so that bars and restaurants can re-open sorta safely.

As to the rest of small businesses, why are any businesses, besides bars and restaurants, still closed? Think Fauci and his complicit agenda to keep the economy closed to hurt Trump. No other reason.

  7. This country is over 40 trillions dollars in the hole. How can it afford to add another 2 or 3 trillions? I thought Mr. Trump was going to be a fiscal conservative.

    1. He is only one man fighting the establishment. It is not like he is the dictator or tyrant as many say he is, would be sooo much easier as Obama himself stated.
One good thing about no one liking what you do no matter what, it should free one up to do the right thing for U.S. for a change.
But yes, it would be better if he would veto more stupid bills and not says some of the stupid shit he does. The funny thing is, he is just not as polished at bureaucratic lying as most politicians are which is why he stands out.

    2. As of the middle of April, we were a bit over 24 trillion dollars in debt, as a nation. Not a good thing, but not 40 trillion dollars. In 8 years, Obama managed to double the national debt from 10 trillion dollars to around 20 trillion dollars. In 3 years, Trump has raised it some 3-4 trillion dollars. Pretty much on par to meet Obama's performance. Of course, he has had a whole lot of help, from both parties. I had no real need for the stimulus money last time. I am on a fixed income, being retired on disability. But I earned a fairly high salary from my job the last 10-15 years, and so it caused my ssd amount to be high, and I am debt free, and have a bit of money in savings, so the money wasn't needed to let me pay bills. I just put it into savings. I give a fairly significant amount of money to charity, via the direct method, by paying for peoples groceries, or in a fast food joint, paying for the car behind me, etc.
I seldom send large amounts of money to candidates running for office, but at times,I do send 10$ or so to some of the various issues that I support. GOA, the Great Lakes Gun Rights group, one or two Michigan conservative politicians, of course, I keep my NRA membership, but don't give them anymore money until they get the top fixed, and WLP must be gone. Then I will send them large donations, perhaps even become a lifetime member.
I do believe that the NRA is useful and needed. I just don't think that they are effective with the leadership that they have, and must change.

    3. Look at it this way. China holds a butt load of our debt from when your obama was pResident. Something in the neighborhood of 20 Trillion. And the rest is just money from air. The fed printed it and put into circulation. There was some lame excuse about having bonds that would pay for it...

But what if??? Trump gets re-elected in Nov. and next year calls for a Jubilee and all the debt is just forgotten? The only people who will catch it in the ass is China. Oh, yeah, all the crooked banksters will take it in the shorts too.

And that will be good payback for helping fund these commies who are trying to take America down.
