SACRAMENTO (CBS13) — Sacramento County is asking for the public’s help to pinpoint businesses and people not complying with health mandates.
The county started adding COVID Enforcement options to 311 when businesses first started to reopen weeks ago. County Health Director Dr. Peter Beilenson said they typically get 100 to 200 calls every week.

The very first “business” that should be reported is the government and all the cronies associated with it!!!
ReplyDeleteI'm thinking of heading out there and opening a "secret knock" Speakeasy.
ReplyDeleteWhy can't people just mind their OWN business.
ReplyDeleteThe only possibility at this point is that they are trying to provoke a shooting war. There's simply no other explanation. Pretty soon, I'm sure many are about to flip that light switch.
ReplyDeleteI don't wear a mask anywhere and I don't make a big deal of it. I simply tell people who question it that I have a "Medical Exception" and I move on. I don't wait for a reply or retort. If it's a Karen, I kill em with kindness and say "I appreciate your concern, thank you, but I have a Medical Exception" and again I move on not waiting for a reply.
ReplyDeleteSo far, no issues shopping at my local HEB, Lowe's, Home Depot, Advanced Auto, even Wally World. Don't make a big stink about it, just tell them you have a medical exception and it's OK. You don't have to tell them what it is and they cannot ask you either.
1. I'm sure this won't be abused to harass businesses that certain persons disapprove of. Absolutely sure.
ReplyDelete2. That said, FOIA is your friend.
The names, addresses, and workplaces of the callers should be public knowledge.
ReplyDeleteThey can't do that! It'll show all the calls coming city buildings and DNC strongholds. Then we could pin blame on them and they don't want us to know just what kind of trash we voted for.
DeleteWondering what the case closure rate is in Sac County for things like auto theft, burglary, assault, stuff like that?
ReplyDeleteBack in the days of early reporting, I covered the Model Cities program in an Arkansas city. At every board meeting, somebody would say, "We need to educate the public" on something being foist on the taxpayers. That's what is coming out of the Sacramento story -- educate the public. It hurts my brain.
