#3: This. I drive to the post office in the adjacent town any time I need counter service, to avoid the assholes at the post office where I live, who are awful. One of the last remaining competent and polite postal employees works there, and I hope TPTB never discover they let one slip thru the cracks.
I shipped a lot of my product through the USPS for 20 years. I used about 12 post offices all tolled. Some were pretty good, two were exceptional and the rest were abismil. There was one that had a black postmaster and a crew who all looked like Vietnam vets. They played 1970's drug music in the back, you could hear it in the street, and all the workers walked like zombies. That one was the worst.
