Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer is beefing up her coronavirus executive orders, requiring Michigan State Police to enforce them like any other law and ordering possible license revocations for violators. MORE
From experience I know the NJ Gestapo would gladly carry out the orders. And so will the Michigan storm troopers. Power over others is a great aphrodisiac.
I don't think MSP will. They have better stuff to do, and roll their eyes at this BS.
When I was 17 (many many moons ago...) I was getting busy (2nd base) with a girlfriend in the back seat of my car (she was also 17) in a spot where kids did that sort of thing. A sheriff rolled up and just reamed us, did search for beer, threatened to call parents, etc. Four weeks later we were doing the same thing (I'm a slow learner). A Michigan State Police car pulled up with two troopers. I panicked, thinking it would be worse reaming than the sheriff. They rolled down their window and one said "Everything going OK?" We both smiled and they rolled away laughing their asses off. - Julius
Has anyone attempted a legal objection in court (aka hire a lawyer to fight charges)? I hear things on the web that sound firm in my head but, how are these various edicts from the executive branch legal? We'll get to the enforcement issue, first up though it needs to be established that executive writ exceeds legislative separation of powers. What "law" is being violated, an executive directive is not the same...
I read somewhere a couple of weeks ago that the Michigan Democrat Party leadership is extremely angry at Whitmer because they believe she's destroying the reputation of the party. Now I'm starting to wonder if it's true. Or, maybe she's just a conceited cunt who doesn't listen to anyone else once her mind is made up.
I live in Michigan. We have a very large attempt at challenging her ability to use the federal law that allows her to make her executive rules. People are collecting petitions to attempt to get something done. I am not sure what they are doing, if it is a ballot issue or a court case. But they are not just sitting and letting her do these things.
Please, what a f**kin' waste of time. It's reached the point to show them who's really boss. This woman needs some good ole' fashioned killin'. It's just where we're at. Time to face it. They brought it to us, not the other way around.
That’s right, bitch, make cops a bigger target over unnecessary mandated mask rules. Dictators gonna dick.
