Where bad choices make good stories
My dream, once, was to get some of those "DOT Wildflower Project - DO NOT MOW" signs. My neighbor would have would have gone apoplectic.
Cutting a pattern in the grass only last a few weeks. If ammonium nitrate is used it burns out the grass in the center and causes rapid growth on the edges. It will last for possibly a year or more.
Apparently, ammonium nitrate is also good for getting rid of large swaths of Beirut.
Cold, DrRiff. Cold.
Or sprinkle a different variety of grass seed in the pattern...
Miracle Grow. Applied right it's effects last years.
